Jenni Derryberry Mann teaches weekly, drop-in prenatal yoga classes at Athens Five Points Yoga (Sundays, 10:30am) and at Full Bloom (Thursdays, 5:30pm). She is a certified yoga
instructor with six years of teaching experience and recent training as a doula. She practiced yoga throughout both of her pregnancies.

Each session we will focus on an aspect of training that will bring us into greater balance, symmetry and alignment. Kim and Shannon will provide training that will help bring balance and efficiency to every workout.
Running will be developed to fit each individual’s level and ability (beginners and walkers are welcome) Each session will vary between road running and track workouts.

Beginning Yoga Series
Led by Shannon Frank
This introductory class is appropriate for students who are beginning yoga
or returning to yoga after a long absence. During the class we will
concentrate on poses which strengthen and stretch the legs, hips, back, and
shoulders providing a foundational understanding of a "basic" yoga practice.
The Universal Principals of Alignment, which align us to our optimal form
and well being, will be emphasized. Pauses during the practice allow you to
reflect, slow down and just "be".This 75 minute class moves at a wonderfully
slow pace which provides ample time to truly learn what is being taught.
Students will also be introduced to basic breathing (pranayama), meditation
& relaxation techniques to round out a complete practice to help you cope
with daily stress and tension.
This class is every Sunday for 6 Sundays begining February 21st

The Eye of the Tiger Practice is for experienced intermediate and advanced yoga students and teachers who can kick to handstand at the wall and perform Urdhva Dhanurasana with straight arms. Jaye Martin is a heartfelt teacher with a life-affirming, exuberant teaching style who generously shares his enthusiasm and spirituality with his students. He began practicing yoga in 1998 after dancing professionally for over 10 years. He was introduced to Anusara yoga by Betsey Downing in 2000 and immediately resonated with its philosophy of radical affirmation, elegant Universal Principles of Alignment, and therapeutic value. Since 2001 Jaye has studied extensively with and assisted John Friend, founder of Anusara Yoga. Jaye is a Certified Anusara Yoga Teacher and he currently teaches full time at Garden Of The Heart Yoga Center in Sarasota, Florida as well as traveling to lead workshops at home and abroad.
